In a nutshell: Anaë is a Premium French organic Gin created from an intrapreneurial project within the Bollinger family Group led by creator Pauline Raffaitin, collaborating with Dominique Touteau, Delamain Cellar Master for over 30 years, and spirits specialists in the industry. Originally launched in France in September 2021, and voted “best gin of the year 2022” by Caviste e-commerce media, Anaë is a grape-based gin steeped in the terroir linking its DNA to the Bollinger Group.
Anaë Gin is crafted with only 8 natural, 100% organic certified ingredients. All 7 ingredients that enhance the juniper are harvested by hand in France (Chamomile, Cornflower, Lemon Thym, Lemon Verbena, Fenugreek, Maceron seed).
Anaë is from Atlantic coast, with its unique recipe distinguished by the maceron (also known as Marsh Pepper), wild harvested on the Ile de Ré. The Gin is distilled and bottled in Charente, near Cognac.
Anaë is committed to producing an exceptional French organic gin that respects biodiversity. As part of this ethos, the team have partnered with independent organic beekeepers on the Atlantic coast, to create new hives and thus protect these endangered species.
Production: Maceration of juniper and coriander seeds for up to 48 hours in 100% organic grape based spirit. Infusion of the 6 other ingredients directly inside the vat. Distillation through an artisanal still called ‘Stupfler’ < Slow reduction (2 months) to reach 43% abv.
The Anaë Gin ‘personality’: A passion to create an exceptional French Organic Gin in the most virtuous and responsible way, that respects the terroir, biodiversity and people. It gives lifted notes of mandarin, kumquat and fresh pear, while balancing spice notes of Szechuan pepper and mint. Wonderful enjoyed neat, with a premium tonic or in a cocktail.
