TAYLOR’S PORT ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF THE VINTE VINTE X TAYLOR’S PORT CUP PACK
TAYLOR’S PORT ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF THE VINTE VINTE X TAYLOR’S PORT CUP PACK
Following the exciting release of the Vinte Vinte Chocolate & Port Pairing Pack in 2024, Taylor’s Port is now delighted to announce the UK release of the Vinte Vinte x Taylor’s Port Cup Pack. The pack sees Taylor’s Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) and Vinte Vinte 58% dark chocolate cups create the perfect pairing, balancing richness, sweetness and depth. The Port’s velvety texture and layered flavours enhance the chocolate’s intensity, revealing new dimensions of taste.
It is no secret that Port and chocolate are an exquisite pairing so it makes sense that Vinte Vinte Chocolate should be owned by The Fladgate Partnership and produced at The Chocolate Story at WOW in Villa Nova de Gaia, Portugal. As a result, Master Chocolate Maker, Pedro Martins Araújo, has had the opportunity to expertly craft his chocolates to perfectly harmonise with the different Port wines. For the Vinte Vinte x Taylor’s Port Cup Pack, Taylor’s LBV’s expressive aromas of cherry and ripe plum, alongside notes of liquorice and wild herbs, find a perfect match with the Vinte Vinte 58% Dark Chocolate, which is equally fruity and herbal, enhancing this delightful harmony.
The Vinte Vinte x Taylor’s Port Cup Pack is a convivial experience that can be enjoyed on many occasions. For the perfect pairing, share amongst friends either as a treat on its own or take the opportunity to add some theatre to the end of a meal. Sure to delight both chocolate and Port lovers alike, we advise you take a sip of the Port and then immediately savour the chocolate cup, letting the flavours harmonise. It’s a match made in heaven!
Pedro Martins Araújo says: “At Vinte Vinte Chocolate we have a mission to make great chocolate and to provide unforgettable experiences. We carefully choose the best ingredients and take time to develop the perfect recipes to make the best chocolate and, after enhancing the concept of pairing Port wine and chocolate with the Vinte Vinte Chocolate & Port Tasting Pack, we have further developed the concept by creating the Vinte Vinte x Taylor’s Port Cup Pack which offers a very different experience.
Having already trialled the Port Cup at many consumer events over the last year, we have seen that they appeal to many different age groups, demographics and consumer types. But a key focus of the pack is strongly targeted towards helping to bring new and lapsed consumers into the port category, using social sharing moments and gifting opportunities as the vehicle in which to do so.
The Vinte Vinte x Taylor’s Port Cup Pack is to helping challenge preconceptions about port. There are many consumers who have still not tried or do not understand port, how majestic it is or its versatility. For example, a lot of people still don’t know that white port even exists or that we encourage tawny port to be served chilled. The Port Cup Pack encourages trial; it’s a new, fun and different way to enjoy port. Nine out of 10 people say they love chocolate – and the other one is usually lying!”
The Vinte Vinte x Taylor’s Port Cup Pack is the perfect gift for any Port or chocolate lover, or simply to stock up on for dinner parties and soirées as the winter months draw in. Each individual pack contains one bottle of Taylor’s LBV Port 37.5cl and eight Vinte Vinte 58% dark chocolate cups.
The Vinte Vinte x Taylor’s Port Cup Pack has an RSP of £20 and is available now from selected retailers, including Amazon, Secret Bottle Shop and Tanners Wines.

About Taylor’s Port:
Taylor’s is one of the first historic Port wine lodges, having been established in 1692. A family company since its foundation, it has been dedicated exclusively to the production of high quality Port wines, from the planting of the vine and harvesting the grapes for fermentation, to the ageing and bottling of the various styles of Port wine. The family’s commitment to the future of Port wine is also demonstrated in its determination to preserve and, where appropriate, improve the unique environmental, social and economic aspects of the Douro region through the promotion of sustainable viticulture.
Taylor’s is mainly recognised as a benchmark for Vintage Port, its classic Vintages attracting the highest scores and auction prices. Known for their elegance, longevity and distinctive scented character, they are blended from the finest wines of the firm’s own ‘quintas’ or estates: Quinta de Vargellas, Quinta da Terra Feita, Quinta do Junco, Quinta da Eira Velha and Quinta da Casa Nova.
The house created L.B.V. (Late Bottled Vintage), a style which the company pioneered and of which it continues to be the principal producer; it also pioneered Extra Dry White Port when it invented Chip Dry, and also launched the first Single Quinta Vintage Port.
Taylor’s is also recognized as the most important producer of Aged Tawnies and has one of the most extensive reserves of cask aged Port wines.
