AIXpressions of New Beginnings:

Wine and Music Meet with AIX Rosé and the Playlister Soundtrack for Spring

This spring, Provençal winemaker AIX Rosé is celebrating the season’s arrival by launching the first playlist in a dedicated series on March 21st, the first day of spring. This special release, created in collaboration with world-leading music curation company, Playlister, coincides with the official launch of their highly anticipated new vintage, AIX Rosé 2024.

While the right music can contribute to a complete sensory experience, enhancing the enjoyment of the finer things in life including food and interiors, music and its importance often goes underappreciated in the context of indulging in a carefully selected bottle of wine.

In response, AIX Rosé is unveiling a special playlist, AIXpressions of New Beginnings, designed with perfect pairings in mind. Drawing inspiration from the harmonious relationship between chefs and sommeliers, who work together to curate perfect pairings, AIX and Playlister have closely collaborated to offer a bespoke musical experience to elevate the wine-drinking experience to new heights.

Comprising 30 tracks, the playlist is longer than previous editions, offering listeners more variety and depth – removing the pressure of “playing DJ” and providing a seamless soundtrack for a sunny spring day.

AIXpressions of New Beginnings celebrates vibrant, soulful sounds inspired by AIX’s lively flavour profile — the perfect soundtrack for outdoor gatherings. From the first rays of spring piercing the lingering chill and bringing fresh energy, to warm tones to get you moving while reconnecting with friends over a picnic or the season’s first barbecue, this collection of tracks captures the optimism in the air, setting the ideal backdrop for spring’s renewal.

With the sun high and spirits lifted, it’s time to leave winter behind, embrace the rhythm of life, and rediscover the joy and freedom that spring brings.

“From sharing experiences with friends over great wine, music, and food, to launching AIX, the sound that represents our wine and ethos has been of particular interest,” says Victor Verhoef, Marketing Director of Maison Saint Aix. “This spring, we want to take all the pressure off your social gatherings by collaborating once again with Playlister to create specially selected soundtracks to pair with our wine. We hope you find them as perfect a match as we do.”

“Much like Maison Saint Aix produces AIX using the perfect blend of grapes, at Playlister, we’re always seeking the ideal pairing — matching the very best music to the very best spaces. From a sunny seaside terrace to a glitzy hotel bar, the experience of drinking a crisp glass of rosé is elevated by a thoughtfully selected soundtrack,” says Playlister co-founder Ben Bridgewater. “We explore a diverse range of sounds, considering the wine’s flavour profile, the terroir, the setting, and above all, sounds that evoke the spirit of spring.”

AIX Rosé and Playlister’s AIXpressions of New Beginnings playlist can be enjoyed on their Spotify profiles and seen across Instagram, with the release on March 21st. But stay tuned – more playlists will be revealed throughout the season.
